Easy Protein SDS-PAGE Staining Solution (catalog EPS001)
The protein staining is based on the principle that proteins bind to Coomassie Brilliant Blue in an acidic solution and show blue color. The reagent is formatted to visualize the protein bands on the gel quickly (within 1 min for 1 mg of BSA or more). The stained gel is simply destained in water. Destaining of gels in water avoids air pollution in the lab by acetic acid and alcohol used in other gel staining and destaining systems.
